  • Cowboys vs. Eagles live score, updates, highlights from NFL ‘Monday Night Football’ game

It’s only Week 3, but already teams are starting to jockey for position atop their respective division standings and prove who’s for real and who isn’t. This week’s Monday night matchup could go a long way in helping decide that as the Eagles and Cowboys face off for sole possession of first place in the NFC East.

Both teams enter the game 1-1, but only one team — the Eagles — has a dominant win under their belt after defeating Atlanta 32-6 in Week 1. On the flip side, the Cowboys lost on a last-second field goal to Tampa that week, even with an impressive performance from Dak Prescott. Dallas got the running game more involved in Week 2 and rode that to a 20-17 victory over the Chargers.

So far, Prescott is 65-for-85 with 640 yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions on the season. Eagles QB Jalen Hurts, meanwhile, is 39-of-58 passing with 454 yards and three touchdowns.

Both teams relied more heavily on the passing game in Week 1 and then went ground-and-pound in Week 2, so it will be interesting to see which prevails in Week 3 when they face off.
