  • NHL Draft order by round 2021: Complete list of all 224 picks for Rounds 1-7

Now that the Stanley Cup has been handed back to the Lightning and the expansion Seattle Kraken have plucked a player from each NHL franchise except the exempt Golden Knights, the hockey world is setting its sights on the next generation of NHL talent.

Between July 23 and 24, more than 200 prospects will be selected by the NHL’s 32 teams as they look for the next great player to fill their lineup. While there are 224 spots for selections, the No. 11 pick has been forfeited by the Coyotes for violating the NHL’s combine testing policy.

NHL DRAFT 2021: Final ranking of top 32 | FCHockey ranks top 300

Unlike the last two drafts, where Jack Hughes and Alexis Lafreniere were the longstanding No. 1 options, this year’s top pick is an unknown. Owen Power is atop the majority of draft boards, but whether he is indeed taken there — or even if the Sabres keep the first overall selection — is anyone’s guess.

Here is the complete order for all seven rounds:
